Shamanic Journeying Class

An introduction to core shamanism, shamanic healing, and foundation in journeying skills. Participants will learn how to navigate and explore the three realms: upper, middle and lower worlds; establish relationships with power animals and helping spirits; be introduced to using core shamanic journeying for divination, to explore dreams, and perform power animal retrievals.

Answering the call of Soul

Many believe 2012 is a call to profound change and transformation. We are at a critical time in our collective, when many are hearing the deepest call of their soul and being awakened to the most authentic version of themselves. Now, more than ever, we are called to show up with our unique gifts and talents.
This four-weekend workshop will explore the archetypes of the visionary, warrior, healer and teacher in conjunction with Birth/Foundation, Life/Flow, Death/Release and Rebirth/Embodiment as a way to bring forward our soul wisdom. During this workshop, participants will work with the shamanic journey, guided meditations, sacred crafting, and initiatory ceremony and ritual.
This is a unique experience unto itself, and also a prerequisite for the professional shamanic training which begins in February 2013.
Dates: June 8-10, August 10-12, October 12-14, December 13-15, 2012
Cost: $1200 ($300 per weekend)
Prerequisite: Experience with shamanic journeying helpful, basic visualization a must.

Introduction to Shamanic Journeying
Shamanic journeying is an ancient practice used in cultures all over the world to access infinite wisdom. Because there is so much overlap in shamanic practices among different cultures, common ways to journey have been established. These practices, when properly followed, can provide invaluable guidance and healing for us and help us know our soul’s true path.
In this class you will learn basic information about shamanism and about creating sacred and safe space for shamanic practice. You will also do a shamanic journey to connect with your power animal guide.
This class is helpful for those wanting more guidance in doing shamanic journeying and for those who are completely new to shamanic practice.
All classes $30 unless otherwise listed.
